In addition, Johnson spent seven years as the color analyst for Hutchinson’s KWBW/KHUT, the flagship of the NJCAA radio network during the Juco Tournament. With Gary Bender, former network play-by-play announcer with CBS, ABC, and TNT, now the voice of the Phoenix Suns, he co-authored Call of the Game: What Really Goes on In the Broadcast Booth.
